Steve Thompson

Hello there. I’m Steve, an Engineering Manager based in Denver. I’ve been in software for over 20 years, with roles ranging from software engineer to bootcamp instructor to manager. Each of those experiences has shaped how I lead and support teams today.

I’ve noticed two things about working at Tango: I feel lucky that my path has led me here, and am challenged by the chance to work at an A.I. company with such brilliant people. The best parts of my day—the real goosebumps moments—come when I know my unique style of support truly made a difference.

When I’m off the clock, I work with my hands, run marathons, and use turn signals.
